The beautiful Gothic abbey with Roman origin is well worth exploring. Particularly impressive are the large Gothic cloister, the dormitory, the Gothic fountain in the cloister, nature show garden and the Baroque library.
In the Gothic church Baroque altars were installed, but the Gothic buildings has been preserved.
Because of the many details worth knowing, we recommend taking part in one of the very good pin guides.
- Tours are available daily at 10:00 and 14:00 pm
- Except on Sundays and public holidays: then only at 14:00
- Duration of the visit; about 1 hour 15 minutes
Lunch and dinner in the Steinschaler Restaurant
Depending on the time of day Steinschaler lunch buffet or Steinschaler dinner buffet in Steinschalerhof (16 km) or in Steinschaler Doerfl.
