The Dirndl, our regional and dried fruit, is the focus of Steinschaler offers.
Many know the Dirndl as 'Yellow Dogwood' or "cornelian cherry" (BRD).

Pictures of the Dirndl Blossom

The very 'early and bright yellow Dirndl bloom' enchants all visitors to the Dirndl valley and walkers at this time. This is only possible by the extremely good adaptation of the dirndl to our climate.

The flowering period begins, depending on the severity of the winter, from February until the second half of March.

End of March the Dirndl blooms in all cases. As yet there are no leaves on the trees of shrubs, the yellow flower clusters light up widely.

This makes, in addition to the very early flowering, the appeal of the dirndl bloom.

Dirndl buds allow early flowering,
because they are prepared all ready to bloom in autumn.
